Architecture is one of my biggest interests and by no means of the imagination am I an expert. However, the idea of a new building or area to explore is incredibly exciting.
One of the most unique structures I’ve come across in London is the shopping mall Boxpark in Shoreditch. Built out of shipping containers, it’s a great example of what you can do with a simple rectangle.
My first opportunity to explore it came last December – just before Christmas – and I’m looking forward to unique trip back this weekend for the lingerie brand Playful Promises‘ fashion show, featuring a fire-breathing burlesque dancer.
If you haven’t had an opportunity to check out BoxPark, Playful Promises’ free show on Saturday will provide a unique experience as Boxpark’s upper deck becomes the catwalk. Beyond the Valentine’s Day gift inspiration, the brand’s shop on the ground floor is hosting a cocktails for shoppers.
