Where’s the next adventure?
Always looking for adventure, I’ll try almost anything once.
Raised in Milwaukee and educated in St. Louis, I started my career in Chicago. Now I live in London and I’m taking every opportunity that comes my way as I explore the city and Europe.
By day I’m a public relations guy for one of Ad Age’s Top 10 PR Agencies of the Decade but that’s only one piece of the puzzle.
Off the clock I’m an urban explorer, hoping from pubs and restaurants to fashion, design or automotive shows.
At the risk of sounding too much like a dating profile, here are a couple quick facts about me:
- My sisters and I have traveled to all 50 states.
- I’ve seen pieces of Europe by car, train and plane. I don’t have a preference but as long as I’m on the move, I’m happy.
- When I asked one of executives at my agency for career advice, I ended up in London. It’s been a challenge, but an unforgettable adventure.
- I don’t have the rest of my life figured out but I know that someday I want a family.

PR and publicists tend to be quite different.

I totally agree. I’m definitely not a publicist like the publicists seen in Hollywood (or on Entourage) but my work is cross between traditional consumer facing PR campaigns and executive positioning. It makes for an interesting day because I’ll go from an event planning meeting or writing a press release to a meeting about an executive’s image and the next steps for developing positive exposure for him/her.
